What began as a journey into the world of fake accounts, online impersonation, and digital deception has grown into a platform dedicated to protecting people, supporting communities, and standing alongside organizations making a genuine difference.
At the heart of TRE is REAL—our foundation of truth, awareness, trust, and accountability.

Founded in 2026, TRE is a purpose-driven nonprofit organization built on one simple belief:

We believe awareness protects. Awareness educates. Awareness empowers people to recognize problems, make informed decisions, and take meaningful action instead of looking away.
TRE was born from a journey into the world of online impersonation, fake accounts, identity theft, and digital deception. What began as one story became a much bigger purpose: helping people find truth, supporting those making a genuine difference, and building stronger communities through awareness.
Within TRE, the name Robello symbolizes being a light in the darkness, while The Effect represents what happens when ordinary people choose courage, integrity, and action over silence.
As Albert Einstein famously said:

That belief is at the heart of everything we do.
TRE was co-founded by Sergeant Chris Robello, an active U.S. Army paratrooper, and L.A. Motzouris, author and Creative Director. Although they come from different parts of the world, they share the belief that doing good has no borders. Awareness, compassion, and action are universal.

Where It All Began
What started as research for a dark thriller romance novel became the foundation of everything TRE stands for today.
While writing @DELETE_ACCOUNT_R, we uncovered the reality of fake military profiles, online impersonation, identity theft, and digital deception. That journey changed our lives and ultimately led to the creation of TRE – The Robello Effect.
The story may be fiction, but the issue behind it is very real.
Today, that same purpose lives on through REAL, the foundation of TRE and our commitment to truth, awareness, and protecting authentic people online.

Chris Robello is the Co-Founder and CEO of The Robello Effect — an active-duty U.S. Army Staff Sergeant and Paratrooper originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, whose life and leadership have been shaped by discipline, resilience, adversity, and service.Having lived throughout the United States and Italy, and following deployments across Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Qatar, Chris has experienced a wide range of cultures, environments, and perspectives that helped shape his mission and outlook on life.Through military service, global experiences, and exposure to different cultures, lifestyles, and walks of life, Chris developed a perspective rooted in resilience, awareness, unity, and human connection.
Chris stands for leadership through action, protecting and uplifting others, mental resilience, personal growth, and bringing people together regardless of background, culture, or lifestyle.He believes true leadership is measured not by rank or status, but by the ability to positively impact, guide, and stand alongside others through life’s challenges.Through TRE, Chris helps drive the organization’s vision with leadership, awareness, and real-world experience — building a foundation centered on protection, purpose, unity, and action.TRE was never built around titles or status.It was built from experience.From witnessing realities many never see.From understanding the importance of awareness, safety, unity, and protecting others.And from the belief that even in darkness, people can still create purpose, strength, and impact.
Chris advocates for healthy outlets that support mental resilience, stress management, recovery, and personal growth — including fitness, running, hiking, music, DJ culture, electronic dance music communities, spa & wellness recovery practices, outdoor activities, sports shooting, and other forms of discipline, creativity, and human connection that help people reconnect with purpose and balance in life.

L.A MOTZOURIS
L.A. Motzouris. Full name: Elaine Motzouris — known to most simply as Lainz — is the Co-Founder, Creative Director, and SHE Lead of TRE (The Robello Effect).
The name L.A originally began as both her art name and author pen name, standing for Lainz Art. As an abstract artist and published author, creativity has always been deeply woven into her identity, and over time the name naturally became part of everything she built.
Based in Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, L.A is a mother of four children, with her eldest already actively involved in TRE. As a mother, the importance of children’s safety, protection, and emotional wellbeing is something deeply rooted within her values and the work she does every day.
Working alongside Co-Founder Sgt. Chris Robello, an active U.S. Military Sergeant, L.A helps lead the vision behind TRE — building it into a movement grounded in integrity, awareness, purpose, and real-world impact.
From shaping the creative direction and storytelling behind the organization to overseeing Safety, Health, and Environmental awareness within TRE, her focus has always been to create something that not only inspires people, but protects and supports them too.
TRE itself was born in an unexpected way.
L.A and Chris were once complete strangers living on opposite sides of the world who connected online through creativity. Together, they began co-writing a dark thriller romance trilogy known as The Awareness Thrillers, starting with Delete Account under the project name @delete_account_r. They often referred to it as “co-writing across borders” — because that is exactly what it was.
What started as storytelling soon evolved into something much bigger: a shared realization that awareness has power, and that good people working together can create meaningful impact far beyond themselves.
That belief ultimately became TRE.
L.A is deeply passionate about creativity, storytelling, music, nature, and the outdoors. As a certified SHE Officer, safety and awareness remain central to the way she approaches both leadership and life.
Above all else, she considers it an incredible privilege to work alongside Chris Robello in building something that truly matters — a movement designed not to replace the heroes already out there, but to stand beside them, amplify their voices, and shine light on the work being done behind the scenes every single day.

R E N - Remember Every Name
REN is a child protection movement built on one simple truth: every child has a name, a voice, and a life worth protecting.
From conception through to young adulthood, REN exists to stand for children at every stage of life. We raise awareness, build action-driven campaigns, and work alongside trusted non-profit organisations who are actively on the ground protecting, rescuing, and supporting vulnerable children.
REN is made up of three core expressions of the same mission:
REN LIFE stands for the unborn, advocating for the protection of life from conception and affirming the value and dignity of every child before birth.
REN WALK is a public, child-led movement against child trafficking, exploitation, abuse, and neglect. It brings communities together to stand visibly and vocally for the safety of children and to support organisations doing direct rescue and protection work.
REN CODE focuses on digital safety and awareness in schools. It empowers children, parents, and educators to understand online risks, protect identities, and take active steps against digital exploitation and harm.
Together, these expressions form REN — a movement committed to awareness, protection, and action. A reminder that children are not statistics or silence, but names, lives, and futures worth defending.
RISE — Rebuild In Strength Every Day
RISE is focused on helping people rebuild themselves through strength, purpose, resilience, and personal growth.
Centered around PTSD awareness, trauma recovery, suicide prevention, mental resilience, and emotional healing, RISE exists to remind people that healing is not weakness — it is courage, discipline, and the decision to keep moving forward despite adversity.
At the core of RISE is our Strong Body, Fit Mind initiative — built on the belief that physical movement, discipline, routine, and mental conditioning can help people rebuild confidence, restore purpose, and strengthen both body and mind together.
RISE works alongside veterans, mentors, coaches, athletes, first responders, advocates, and organizations dedicated to helping people rise stronger mentally, emotionally, and physically.
No matter someone’s background or story, the mission remains the same:

ROAR — Rehabilitate Our Animal Rights
ROAR is dedicated to the protection, rescue, rehabilitation, and long-term welfare of wildlife and domestic animals. It exists to stand for the vulnerable, defend those who cannot speak for themselves, and ensure every animal is given the chance to heal, recover, and live with dignity.
Beyond rescue and rehabilitation, ROAR also focuses on awareness, responsible ownership, conservation education, and community involvement — encouraging people to actively protect the animals and environments around them.
ROAR works alongside rescues, sanctuaries, rehabilitation teams, and organisations committed to restoring animal life and fighting neglect, abuse, and extinction risks.
At its core, ROAR is about action, compassion, and accountability — creating a world where animal life is protected, valued, and given a second chance.
REEF — Restore Earth’s Essential Fisheries
REEF is dedicated to the protection, restoration, and preservation of the world’s oceans and marine ecosystems. Focused on marine life conservation, ocean health, and clean seas, REEF exists to protect the waters that sustain all life on Earth.
From safeguarding coral reefs and marine biodiversity to addressing pollution, plastic waste, habitat destruction, and overfishing, REEF works to restore balance where it has been disrupted and protect what is still thriving.
Beyond conservation, REEF also focuses on awareness, education, and responsible environmental action — encouraging communities to understand the impact of human activity on oceans and to take part in meaningful change.
REEF works alongside marine conservation organisations, research teams, and environmental groups committed to keeping our oceans alive, balanced, and safe for future generations.
At its core, REEF is about restoration, responsibility, and legacy — protecting the oceans today so life can continue tomorrow.
