Tuesday — Rebuild Inner Strength Everyday

RISE

Rebuild.

RISE focuses on rebuilding people physically, mentally and emotionally.

Its primary focus areas include:

  • Trauma
  • PTSD
  • Suicide prevention
  • Mental resilience
  • Physical wellbeing
  • Rebuilding after adversity

RISE recognises that recovery does not always happen through one method.

For some people, rebuilding begins through therapy. For someone else, it may begin through training. Nutrition. Mentorship. Routine. Community. Purpose. Discipline. Or simply having somebody remind them that another chapter is possible.

RISE therefore creates a bridge between individuals and the therapists, mentors, coaches, organisations and resources that may help them rebuild.

RISE STRONG

RISE STRONG focuses heavily on trauma, PTSD and mental health support.

One of the initiatives supported through RISE is awareness and fundraising for The Headstrong Project, which provides trauma-focused mental-health care to military veterans and others affected by service-related trauma.

This mission has particular significance to TRE because of Sgt. Chris Robello’s military background and the experiences carried by many military personnel and veterans.

FIT BODY, STRONG MIND

Physical strength and mental resilience are deeply connected.

Fit Body, Strong Mind focuses on movement, exercise, discipline, nutrition and healthier habits as components of rebuilding.

This area allows TRE to highlight:

  • Coaches
  • Gyms
  • Athletes
  • Mentors
  • Dietitians
  • Nutrition specialists
  • Transformation stories
  • Training communities
  • People whose work encourages others to become stronger versions of themselves

Individuals such as Amanda “Mad Dog” Lino and other coaches and wellness professionals can be highlighted for the impact they are making through physical training and discipline.

The message is not that fitness replaces professional mental-health treatment.

It is that movement, structure, community and physical strength can become valuable pieces of someone’s rebuilding process.

RISE UP

RISE UP gives TRE a space to amplify organisations and professionals working directly within mental health, suicide prevention, trauma recovery and community support.

During Suicide Prevention Month, for example, TRE can highlight organisations such as SADAG and direct people to their professional resources.

TRE supports the work. We never imply that an organisation officially supports, endorses or partners with TRE unless that relationship has specifically been established.
