MARINE RESCUE & SAFETY
REEF also recognises the people who protect human life at sea.
This includes organisations such as NSRI Sea Rescue Station 41 — Ballito, whose volunteers respond when people are in danger along our coastline.
Supporting our oceans also means recognising those who protect the communities living, working and travelling around them.
OCEAN CONSERVATION
TRE highlights credible marine organisations and campaigns and directs supporters toward their official resources.
These can include organisations such as:
- REEF.org
- 4ocean / Ocean conservation initiatives
- Marine conservation projects
- Coastal cleanups
- Research initiatives
- Rescue operations
- Educational campaigns
- Local conservation organisations
REEF gives TRE the ability to bring global environmental issues back to the communities directly affected by them.
TRE supports the work. We never imply that an organisation officially supports, endorses or partners with TRE unless that relationship has specifically been established.
